Keg Pumps

My friends and I had a party at our friends backyard a few months ago. Like all parties, we needed to stock up on beer. Lots of them. We wanted to buy a bunch of cases but we thought it would be impractical and it would take up too much space. And besides, beer bottles or cans might be used for throwing once everybody gets loaded.

So we decided we were going to serve draft beer. We bought some kegs and keg pumps. We wanted to brew our own beer and in fact we actually attempted to do just that. We did some research on how to brew beer and once we thought we were already experts on beer making, we bought the ingredients and started what we thought was brewing.

We experimented on brewing for three days. We managed to fill two kegs with our own brand of beer. The keg pumps were pumping yellowish-brown liquid into our mugs. We raised our glass, or mugs, and tasted our.....creation. (we got our Mugs from the beer stein shop) Tasted like something out of the urinal. We decided to drop the idea of serving our own beer for the party. We bought a few kegs from a microbrewery and the beer tasted phenomenal.

Backyard parties nowadays just aren't complete without kegs, keg pumps, and draft beer. With the emergence of microbreweries, draft beer from kegs has become very popular. We tried our hand at brewing but we found out we were not cut out for it. Good thing there are lots of microbreweries out there that produce great beer and get the party going. And with stores like kegeratorsandmore, we can keep the beer 'aflowin'.
